This memorandum of understanding was signed to use the capacity of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and Faraboom Co. in the field of digital and automation technologies based on API in the foundation of development of cooperative economy.

Supporting the development of a sandbox environment to increase the service and operational capacity of business connections of selected businesses is another goal of this Memorandum of Understanding.

Mahdi Mohammadi, the secretary of the digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter, stated: a program of the Vice-Presidency to provide services to startups was establishing CoronaPlus movement. Currently, 600 companies and startups active in the field of online services are participating in this campaign and provide services related to corona disease.

According to Mohammadi, these companies serve people in various fields of online services such as education, health, sports, entertainment and tourism, content production, social innovation, stores, etc. The 300 startups active in the campaign had the opportunity to grow and develop their markets and products.

Mohammadi mentioned that good news will be announced for active companies of the area of advanced technologies in the next 10 days. In this regard, he continued: “Startup Plus System” will be opened in the next 10 days. This system is supposed to provide services to active startups in the field of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Internet of Things.

Representatives from both sides have been appointed to implement the provisions of the MoU. During the pre-determined meetings, these representatives are responsible for drafting the implementation plan of the agreements, determining the required funding, and overseeing the proper implementation of the plans.
