The first conference and exhibition of free accelerators was held at the permanent exhibition of knowledge-based economy of Islamic Azad University. The event was held by 20 top accelerators of the country.

Familiarization of these accelerators with the comprehensive regulations of the technology market and innovation centers was one of the goals pursued by the conference. Since accelerators are one of the completing components of the technology chain, measures were taken to enhance the role of accelerators by the participation of 20 top accelerators in the country.

Each accelerator displayed its achievements in its booth and exhibited its actions. In addition, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs played a role in introducing the accelerators. In the end, accelerators presented 10 cooperation projects in the comprehensive regulation of the technology market in 10 minutes based on their research field. By creating a meeting room next to the accelerator booths, a place has been set up for concluding contracts.

The event was held as an opportunity for development of the innovation and technology ecosystem of the Islamic Azad University, the authorities of which interacted with knowledge-based companies to take stronger steps toward the promotion of the innovation ecosystem.

The event was held to create a link between economy and university since the largest asset of large companies such as Google is knowledge. Therefore, we must rely on our talented and capable human resources and lay the foundation for their use in the world.

Therefore, holding such events can be regarded as forming a new perspective that increases the formation of the innovation and technology ecosystem and improving the foundation legally laid at the Islamic Azad University.
