The Iran National Science Foundation has published the first call for support of research projects of researchers in the country to provide a balanced support of studies and help the production of knowledge and technology.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, support of researchers of the country to implement research projects in various scientific areas is one of the prominent measures taken by Iran National Science Foundation. This type of support paves the way for conducting studies and will boom the performing of scientific activities in the country. Activities that have technological achievements lead to progress in the country and provide welfare for the society members.

In this regard, working groups have been established in various technological and scientific areas, which receive projects from researchers and support them if approved by the specialized committee of the fund.

Today, the process of receiving research projects in the fund has been changed. In this respect, each working group publishes several calls every year, based on which researchers send their projects to the working group to receive support.

According to the first call of the fund, researchers can send their projects to working groups of technical and engineering, environment, climate change and health during July 23^rd-September 6^th, 2019. In addition, a deadline has been considered for working groups of medical sciences, math and physics, veterinary, and fishery since July 23^rd to September 22^nd, 2019. Moreover, researchers can send their projects to the working groups of agriculture, natural resources and biotechnology during July 23^rd-October 7^th, 2019.
