The introductory meeting of the National Elites Foundation for the New Talent in the academic year 1399-1400 was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology and President of the National Elites Foundation.

 In this meeting, Sattari, referring to the need to change the country's oil ecosystem, said: "In the past seven years, a continuous struggle has begun for the institutionalization of the knowledge-based ecosystem in the country, which continues to this day."

The head of the National Elites Foundation emphasized that this foundation is not a welfare center and the National Elite Foundation has no members and continued: Provide facilities to them, and the people covered are more likely to be superior rather than elite.

The Vice President of Science and Technology stated: In the past because the concepts were not localized before entering the Iranian culture, they had created many challenges and problems. The establishment of a university in the country was a very desirable and necessary thing that was done by compassionate and expert people, but the concept of the university had to be localized. 

 Sattari added: "The duty and mission of the university is not only education, but the university should be a place of positive transformation of society and leave its effects in the daily lives of people;" The university must play an effective role as the source of economics, culture and other aspects of society.

Sattari considered gaining the top rank in the national entrance exam or scientific olympiads as an elite act and stated: although achieving these successes is valuable, it is not the end.

Hassan Salarieh, Deputy of Futurists in the National Elites Foundation, Parviz Karami; Advisor to the President of the National Elites Foundation and Mr. Kuchakzadeh; The head of the Elites Foundation in Tehran Province also attended the meeting.
