Abdolreza Majdodin, the general director of knowledge-industry-market cooperation association, stated on the first conference of the association of paint and resin: the shift from the traditional economy to the knowledge-based economy or the transition from an oil-based economy to an innovation-based economy can be seen as a central goal.

In a meeting held in the presence of 400 activists in the industry, market and scientific centers in the field of painting and resin, the general director of knowledge-industry-market cooperation association pointed out the negative aspects of a single-product economy that does not rely on the knowledge-based ecosystem, adding: one of the disadvantages of single-product economies is creating a top-down attitude in the government, especially when the sources are used and sold by governments. This creates a major centralization for the government and marginalizes the private sector. Such investments naturally turn the state into a major competitor for the private sector, and it is unclear with what capacity and capital the private sector must compete with such a competitor.

According to Majdodin, the Vice-Presidency has been established with the goal of eliminating negative economic and scientific assumptions. Fortunately, there are more than 4700 knowledge-based companies and more than 6000 startups in the country.

He added: this approach was also used in the establishment of knowledge-industry-market cooperation associations, which can explain the chain of value, challenges and solutions of the field and use the modern technology.

During the meeting, Majid Tabashiri, the head of painting and resin association, and Zahra Ranjbar, the vice-chairman of the association, expressed the goals and plans of the center.

The knowledge-industry-market cooperation associations has been the innovation of the Vice-Presidency, established with the goal of creating more mobility in different areas and encouraging activists in these three sectors to cooperate more.
