“The technological gathering of organizations, industries, knowledge-based companies and startups in water, drought, erosion and environment field” was opened in Iran national innovation fund in the presence of some of the players in the ecosystem of the field.

Esmaeil Ghaderifar, the head of the strategic technologies development center, considered this gathering an opportunity for recognition and elimination of national problems in water field with the cooperation of the ministry of energy, stating: we have passed two generations in the startup field. The first generation is based on information technology, whereas the second generation is active in technology-based areas.

He added: currently, 60 out of 130 active accelerators in the country are active in this area.

Ghaderifar also marked: the improvement of the communication between the private sector activities and administrative organizations is one of the most important achievements of this gathering. In addition, development of the market for these companies is followed up in the gathering. In this regard, specialized panels and meetings will be held.

Knowledge-based Companies Will Transform Technological Measures in Water Field

In addition, Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, secretary of water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter pointed out the necessity of entry of knowledge-based companies and startups in the field of technological measures in water field, asserting: about 80 knowledge-based companies and startups have attended this gathering to present their achievements.

Ebrahimi continued: it is predicted that 12 contracts be concluded between technological companies and industries during these two days to take effective steps in water field. 

The secretary of water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter emphasized the formation of a new move to implement the measures of the document, affirming: various working groups have been established in the headquarter that have created new measures. These working groups are active in different fields, including Setting up desalination systems, producing high pressure desalination pumps and supplying drinking water for small rural units.

In addition, the secondary exhibition of knowledge-based companies was opened in the presence of Mohammad Saleh Olia, deputy of human resources and research of ministry of energy, Esmaeil Ghaserifar, head of the strategic technologies development headquarter, Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, the secretary of water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter, and activists of the field.

The gathering will continue for two days, during which industries will present their needs in specialized panels so that technological companies and startups could provide solutions. In addition, the technology exchange meetings of the secondary exhibition will be held at Iran national innovation fund, where knowledge-based companies can showcase their achievements.
