Iranian and Chinese researchers work together to promote knowledge of addiction
Researchers active in the field of addiction in Iran and China are developing joint research and technological projects to provide a basis for the treatment of the disease.
The second specialized workshop in the field of addiction knowledge will be held between Iranian and Chinese researchers with the aim of creating a platform and expanding research cooperation in the field of addiction knowledge and implementing joint research projects.
The Cognitive Science and Technology Development Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology is supporting the event.
According to Abbas Haghparast, a researcher at the Neuroscience Research Center in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, this scientific event will be held in cooperation with a number of specialized and academic centers with the support of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Referring to the support of the Researchers and Technologists by Support Fund in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology for this event, he continued: This specialized workshop will be opened virtually for 3 days from September 25 of this year.
In a joint workshop of the two countries, 12 professors, researchers and experts in the field of neuroscience and addiction from the country's academic centers, as well as the Beijing Institute of Psychology affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, share the latest scientific and research findings in this field. This research workshop is held in the framework of the joint desk of collaborations between Iranian and Chinese researchers and professors in the field of addiction knowledge studies.
The first joint study workshop on addiction between Iranian and Chinese researchers was held in Tehran two years ago in the form of a series of comprehensive lectures by professors and experts from the two countries.
The development and expansion of scientific cooperation between researchers and professors of the University of Iran and the Beijing Institute of Psychology will lead to the strengthening and deepening of joint research interactions and cooperation between the two countries. Participation in this series of comprehensive lectures is open to all interested parties, professors, researchers and students.
