The manager of strategic technologies laboratory network regarded human resources as the most important asset of laboratory industry of the country and emphasized the development of specialized workforce in this area.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Reza Asadifard, the manager of strategic technologies laboratory network, attended a meeting with mediators of laboratory network member centers and emphasized the importance of presence of these individuals in the formation of communication and improvement of the laboratory network structure.

He continued: the key asset of the lab network is its human resources, not its laboratory equipment. One of the problems of some laboratories in the country is that, despite having large capital, they are unable to benefit the country because of the lack of skilled experts.

According to Asadifard, this is not just observed in Iran, and optimization of laboratory service systems is an important challenge for all countries.

He also mentioned: until the end of the last year, more than two million and 200 thousand laboratory services are provided to applicants.

The manager of strategic technologies laboratory network believes that research infrastructures have been provided in the country but we must improve and facilitate access to these infrastructures.

In another part of his speech, Asadifard marked: currently, the mediators of the laboratory network are present in more than 60 cities of Iran, which has increased our responsibilities.
