The Path to Expand the Activities of 68 Game Developing Teams Was Paved
“Converging structures” have been formed for targeted and structural support of teams and companies active in the field of game development to direct the services allocated to this area by these companies. More than 60 companies have joined this supportive structure in 2020.
Video game developing companies are one of the most active members of the program of developing the ecosystem for creative companies. In this regard, the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter has always attempted to persuade these companies to present products suitable to the taste of Iranian users based on the market development strategy.
Given the acceptable asset turnover of these companies at the international level, and production of video games based on the Islamic-Iranian culture, the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter has supported the establishment of a “converging platform” with the help of other organizations, including the Iran Computer and Video Games Foundation.
“Converging structure” is a supportive structure that evaluates the video games manufacturing studios. This structure ultimately classifies gaming companies and teams into four levels. The converging structure meets the different needs of these teams and companies by using the services provided by "service providers required by computer game developers".
In addition, these companies can benefit from various support packages depending on the level they are classified in. overall, 68 teams have joined the “converging structure” in 2020.
The converging structure has aimed to enhance the video games ecosystem by recognizing the technological youth, creative startups and new talents. These companies can also benefit from especial support of the Vice-Presidency for export in case of having an appropriate product.
Those active in the field of video game development can refer to the website of the program for development of the ecosystem for creative companies.
