Pre-clinical Studies on Radiopharmaceuticals; Access to Corona Vaccine Will Be Evaluated
The third round of the symposium of “application of imaging in pre-clinical research” will be held. The event will be held by the preclinical lab of Tehran University of Medical Sciences virtually and free of charge during August 5th-6th, 2020.
This event will be held due to the importance of drug production in the country and also naming the year as the production leap year.
Researchers from all over the country will attend the event to learn about the latest imaging achievements in preclinical research. Given the fact that the most prominent professors abroad and inside the country are present in this event and the participants can update their studies and researches, the event is an opportunity to raise the level of knowledge in this area.
In addition to Iranian professors, the event will be attended by researchers from Swiss, Canada, the United States, England and Greece to talk about issues such as preclinical studies in radiopharmaceuticals, its importance in obtaining the corona vaccine, and various surgical models are discussed.
Professors and researchers of physicians, medical specialists, basic medical and engineering sciences, dentistry and pharmacy can attend in the event by referring to the website of the pre-clinical lab of the university of medical sciences.
Familiarity with how to use pre-clinical studies and raising the level of researchers' awareness about small animal imaging infrastructure and pre-clinical research in order to meet some of the research and technology needs of the country and also to accelerate research is the purpose of holding this event. Animal ethics, dentistry, cancer, nanotechnology, drug delivery, tools and image processing, and other related areas are the focus of the symposium.
