Innovation Will Aid the Prevention of Corrosion of Vessels and Marine Structures
The national space and advanced transportation administration has invited creative idea-makers over a call to design a corrosion protection device for injection flow of vessels and marine structures.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, idea-making for solving challenges in the industry can be a great starting point for many businesses. In this regard, the most important part of the path is providing a competitive foundation for applicants. The marine technologies development working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration plans and supports events in the form of “innovation challenges” with the cooperation of marine centers and organizations.
Holding challenge-centered events is a targeted competitive process to achieve technological and applicable solutions to solve the problems of industrial agencies or develop innovative services and products. Therefore, private industrial companies or government organizations can find the most appropriate technological solutions to solve their problems and invest in projects.
Today, various methods exist to prevent the corrosion of vessels and marine structures, each having its own benefits and disadvantages. Therefore, the Islamic Azad University of Shahr Ray has aimed to hold the innovative challenge of “design of a device to prevent corrosion in the injection flow of vessels and marine structures” with the support of the marine technologies development working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration.
Registration deadline of the event is July 16th, 2019, and the final stage of evaluation of ideas will be carried out July 23rd, 2019. The top three ideas will receive cash prizes, and the top project will receive 25 million tomans for construction.
