According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the macro plan of the strategic technologies laboratory network in 2019 and 2020 is improving the international interactions with the goal of increasing foreign currency earnings for the country.

The only way to eliminate the oil-based traditional economy is developing other industries and modern technologies in the country.

If we can develop various industries such as tourism, handicrafts and culture and new technologies such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, we can hope to get rid of the oil economy that has been plaguing this country for many years.

One of the areas that can help greatly contribute to increase of foreign exchange earnings is the country"s laboratory industry, which has had an acceptable development in the past few years in the presence of domestic experts and technologists. This growing industry has a high capacity for flourishing the economy of the country. Therefore, the strategic technologies laboratory network has aimed to increase the international interactions with other countries.

One of the ways to increase foreign currency earnings in the laboratory network is providing international laboratory services, implementing standards and holding educational courses.
