Referring to the knowledge-based, creative and technological companies of this island, Ruhollah Dehghani pointed out; Kish Island was introduced as the country's first free zone 40 years ago, and with its convenient geographical location, luxurious upstream laws and commercial and economic focus, it grew rapidly, and the current advantages of Kish Island helped to increase the country's trade in the past years, but now Kish's mission should be changed towards supporting knowledge-based, technological, creative and start-up companies.

He further added: Kish brought the highest rate of development and innovation during its time, but currently the rate of innovation and economic growth has increased in other countries and the free zones have lost many of their advantages and incentives, so the 13th government is trying to get the free zones out of the restrictions, and it is necessary for the free zone organization in its new missions to identify the knowledge-based companies and startups that have reached the production and export stage.

The head of the National Elites Foundation added: animation, nanotechnology, biotechnology drugs, internet businesses, artificial intelligence are among the activities that can be relied on to achieve multiple profits in order to increase the country's gross production.

In this meeting, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy pointed to the invitation of knowledge-based companies to set up their production lines in Kish Island and said: the use of island students in these companies, customs facilities, creation of a hub for the import of raw materials And the export of manufactured goods, the provision of white or unlimited internet can be one of the axes of the new approach of the Kish Free Zone Organization to become a technological island.

Dehghani stated that one of the missions and responsibilities of Kish Island is the creation of green and export-oriented knowledge-based on the emerging economy and stated: This region is the first generation of free regions in the country due to the existing infrastructure and capacities. It can strengthen its past approach in the field of trade and tourism, to compensate for this weakness, free trade zones should define innovative missions based on the needs of the country and global markets and emphasize on the dynamism and updating of these creations continuously along the way.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy stated: Creating ECT, artificial intelligence, creating a white internet hub, creating councils and elite groups in Kish, paying attention to health fields by using the presence of medical students and inviting them to participate. Medical activists can be the most important approaches of Kish in this field.
