The silk road science fund (SRSF) is the title of a call made by Iran national science foundation in cooperation with the science academy of China, the fifth round of which is under implementation.

With the publication of this call, joint research activities between Iranian technologists and researchers and the Chinese Academy of Sciences will be supported. This support is in the form of research and development projects and joint workshops.

According to the report, a maximum of six research projects in the fields of cognitive science and nanotechnology will be supported in the form of research and development projects. Iranian researchers can send their joint proposals to the foundation’s system up to July 19^th, 2020.

The other part of the call also supports the holding of three joint workshops in the fields of nanotechnology, cognitive science, advanced materials, water science and medical engineering.

The final results will be announced on October 15^th, 2020, and research projects will be started from January 2021. For more information, please refer to the website of Iran national science foundation.
