Scientific discoveries enter the world. The world changes. There is a move toward advancement. However, the necessity for continuation of this issue is using the ability and capacities of active and motivated human resources, support of whom is significantly important on this path.

Once upon a time, lack of access to knowledge-based products would disappoint us. However, the seedling of innovation and hope led to the sweet fruit of added value. On days when technology is tied to life. Online taxis, GPS navigation software apps and receiving any type of service online have made life simpler. However, entrance of this volume of services to the community has certainly taken a winding path. These seedlings could not be fertilized except by caring for and supporting the seed of creative and innovative research.

Every year, many studies are performed by motivated researchers and students in the country, each supported with an idea. Much of this research may be a technological breakthrough that can be accelerated by support. The Iran National Science Foundation is one of the centers that has been supporting researchers on this path and supported their research projects in the form of research seat, grant, research projects, and PhD dissertation.

Researchers send their scientific and technological projects to the fund and are supported after evaluation until the end of work. Last year, more than 3,000 research projects have been sent to the fund by researchers, 1200 of which have been approved for support. These projects come from a variety of scientific fields. Each brings various achievements ranging from innovative solar panels and herbal remedies to the detection of extrasolar planets.
