One of the priorities of the marine working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration is supporting entrepreneurial events. This support occurs to promote marine industry concepts in the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, holding entrepreneurial events in each industry can considerably affect the development of this industry. These events gather activists and beneficiaries of each industry and provide solutions to current problems of the country. These days, entrepreneurial events have a different meaning, and creative individuals exist alongside the authorities of each industry, as well as idea-owners and creative individuals, presenting novel solutions by using new technologies. Today, idea making and innovation have caused an evolution in the field of entrepreneurship and the emergence of new businesses in the world. 

In this regard, the marine working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration supports such events in the country with the cooperation of marine universities to recognize and develop top ideas.

Some of the most important events supported by the administration in 2018 included “idea market with a focus on Makran Coast, University of Hormozgan”, “event of fishery startups and ideas in Bushehr Province”, “demo startup with the topic of marine apps”, “competition of marine idea market with a focus on marine handcrafts”, and “marine idea market with an emphasis on automation of ports”.
