The strategic technologies laboratory network has provided 12,000 laboratory services and equipment for industrialists, researchers and private firms.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the strategic technologies laboratory network has aimed to share the existing lab equipment and services in the country since its development, which has helped the development of different industries.

Networking the country"s laboratory capabilities with nearly 550 laboratory complexes in research, universities and private companies is one of the activities of the network.

Presenting quality products and competing in national and international markets requires continuous research and development, and research to access the appropriate laboratory infrastructure to test new ideas and materials as well as product samples. Creating completely advanced laboratory infrastructure, in addition to imposing enormous costs on one manufacturer, takes the golden time and opportunity to reach the market from the manufacturer and the market falls to other competitors in some cases.

For this reason, one of the important actions of this network is to use all available laboratory capabilities in the country for use in industry and research. In fact, the strategic technologies lab pursues the device sharing platforms and lab services, and supports the quantitative and qualitative improvement of lab services in the country.
