The primary approach of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in supporting the development of science and technology is one of the essential infrastructures in the knowledge-based economy and economy of resistance. In this regard, the achievement of strategic and prioritized sciences and technologies in the world is carried out to solve the fundamental issues of the country with an emphasis on upstream documents, especially the comprehensive scientific map. Therefore, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs supports technology development projects through 12 strategic technologies development headquarters based on the priorities of the comprehensive scientific map to support the development and use of strategic and prioritized sciences and technologies on the chain of idea to wealth creation. Technology development is defined as creating new technology proportional to the society’s needs using the knowledge for transfer of technology and acquired skills and experiences during the process of technology transfer and domestic development and research.
