Due to its necessity, a national foresight program has been formed in two idea-making and implementation dimensions by the policy-making and strategic evaluation headquarter of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and after performing the preliminary studies. Since the approach of this program is beyond preparing a list of possible technologies that can emerge in the future and presenting the list as applicable choices for research, the main goal of this project has been recognized as discourse making and engaging various society levels to recognize the issues and challenges that can be solved by using technological solutions and intelligent approaches to turn threats into opportunities. In addition, efforts have been dedicated to form a discourse based on knowledge and raising awareness of future changes and issues of the society among various beneficiaries.
