The review of the science, technology, and innovation policies of Iran has been prepared under the direct supervision of Angel Gonzalez-Sanz, head of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and a specialized team supervised by Michael Lick, the UNCTAD project coordinator. Various chapters of the report have been prepared by Martin Shaper from UNESCO Institute of Statistics, Thomas Anderson, manager of the international institution of knowledge-based economy and development of agencies, Iva Dantas, the consultant and researcher of the research center for science and technology, University of Sussex, and Catherine Stokes, a consultant for biotechnology. The present report has been created by UNCTAD and in collaboration with the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
