We Iranian have a tradition that we convoy a guest to the outside of home at farewell time. We don’t want to give up a bilateral relation created till the last second. We usually don’t like saying goodbye and it is too difficult for us. Hence, we throw water behind our sweethearts who are going apart from us and we asked heavens for their early return.

Exhibitional events may be events or programs apparently But they are with many memories, difficulties and experiences for those who set them up. Thereby, those who are involved in running the events usually miss them at closing ceremonies even though they know they have been relieved from a great duty. But that event was as a child for them whom has to be left.

The 3^rd national exhibition and festival on medicinal herbs, natural products and traditional medicine was among the events for which the vice presidency for science affairs had high level of seriousness and in which, the substantial and indescribable presence of people relieved us from tiredness’s and difficulties fortunately.

Usually May is the heyday of efflorescence and freshness in Iran. Therefore, this event can be referred to as the May of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine even though we are in the middle of summer. This valuable presence motivates us more to work for developing technology and making the knowledge-based culture in the field of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine more than anything else. Now we are sure that our people regard centuries of experience and glory in the field of Iranian medicine and don’t ask strangers what they have against attack of chemical and artificial medicines and methods.

With valuable capacities in growth of the country’s technology’s ecosystem, the medicinal herbs are accompanied with an extraordinary opportunity. Therefore, these field activists must be proud of the high importance and rank of their work more than before. So I hope that such an event be accompanies with wider technological achievements in next sessions and natural products with the color and cover of creative ideas imposed to eager looks of people.
