The fifth call for support of PhD dissertations is published by the Iranian national science foundation to support the researchers and technologists.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, publication of this call is in line with maximum use of potential capacities of the country. In addition, it is a way to guide PhD dissertations properly and based on the needs and priorities of the country.

Therefore, PhD students can register for the event during February 20^th-April 4^th, 2019. After precise review of the regulations of the call, students can send their dissertation proposals to the system. The final results will be announced after being evaluated by the expert committee.

According to this report, more than 150 PhD dissertations have been supported by Iranian national science foundation. In addition, empowering PhD students and encouraging them to perform research in knowledge boarder have been the impacts of publication of this call.
