We will transform the insurance area with the help of startups

The secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter announced the publication of the 12th volume of the book of “evaluation of global experiences of startup companies”, stating: this volume is allocated to startups of insurance field to help flourishing the activities of startups in this field, where an increasing number of startups has been activated and their activity have led to more services and facilitation of people’s affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, pointed out that the activity of startups in this field will lead to its great enhancement, asserting: considering this issue, the 12th volume of the book of “evaluation of global experiences of startup companies” is dedicated to the assessment of global experiences of startup companies in the field of insurance. In this book, business models and world-class startups are reviewed in this area.

Karami continued: the book has diverse sections that can be used to provide new and different insurance services, an online platform for providing insurance services, insurance company support services, and insurance management tools for insurers. Moreover, in another part of the book, active startups are introduced in the field of providing new and diverse insurance services such as health and travel, automotive, life, complements, property, products and events. In this book, we try to examine the key issues in this field in the first step. Then, studying future studies, the most important challenges have been extracted so that a link between the challenges and startup strategies can be found.

According to the advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs, insurance startups and complementary services are companies that provide traditional insurance services in an innovative or day-to-day manner. These startups are the intermediator between insurance and consumer companies for training, the possibility of comparing services and facilitating the issuance of insurance.

Secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter marked: identifying the orientations of insurance startups and recognizing the challenges they face can help guide new paths for the formation and growth of these companies. Therefore, publication of this book will open new paths for ecosystem of newly developed knowledge-based companies to maximize the socioeconomic effects of these enterprises.

11 volumes of this book have been developed by the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter on various business fields, which has been carried out considering culture building and developing the ecosystem for new, knowledge-based, and startup companies as one of the major missions of the Vice-Presidency.
