Emphasizing the high capacity of Boushehr in the biotechnology area, the vice president for science and technology affairs stated: we support the creative youth with all power.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the council meeting on knowledge-based economy of Boushehr, held in the presence of the governor and authorities of the province, managers of knowledge-based companies and elites.

On the meeting, Sattari regarded Iran as the first regional power in the biotechnology field, stating: Boushehr province has great capacities in all areas, and it has had an accelerated move toward knowledge-based area.

Occurrence of a Phenomenon outside the Province Is Worthless

Sattari emphasized localization, expressing: a phenomenon that occurs outside the province has no values and science and technology must penetrate the province.

The president of the national elites foundation marked: today, one of the essential needs of the country is science and technology production and not factories, formation of which with the use of foreign science has had adverse effects on the economy of the country. Industry is an ecosystem that involves creation.

In terms of advancement of Iran in the biotechnology field, Sattari asserted: Iran is ranked first in the region and has had considerable growth in this field, in a way that 97% of drugs are produced in the country, which is phenomenal.

Sattari also explained the capacity of Boushehr in science and technology field, stating: Boushehr province has a wide capacity in this field. Proper capacities exist in south of the province. We can create a self-adequate industry if knowledge-based companies are formed in the region.

Decrease of Administrative Problems Will Improve the Advancement of the Ecosystem

The president of the national elites foundation regarded administrative problems a problem in this field, expressing: knowledge-based companies need this ecosystem for progress, and one of the necessities of the ecosystem is decreasing the problems encountered in the administrative system.

The vice president for science and technology affairs emphasized: the best knowledge-based ecosystem of the region exist in our country. Meanwhile, statistics show that Iran is among the top 50 countries in the field of science and technology development. We thought that we are ranked 41 or 43. Nevertheless, we are the top country in some of the indexes.

In the end, Sattari regarded Boushehr as one of the top five provinces of the country in the field of technology science, adding: a fund will be created in the province to support knowledge-based companies.

During this provincial trip, the vice president for science and technology affairs met with the representative of the Supreme Leader in Boushehr. 

Ayatollah Boushehri appreciated the week of government and reminded the memory of martyrs, expressing: positive and history-making measures and activities of Rajaei and Bahonar will be remembered forever.
