The biotechnology development headquarters, the national medical device directorate, and medical equipment professionals association signed a memorandum of understanding to achieve self-reliance in the production of biotechnological, health and medical products in the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the most important measures taken by the biotechnology development headquarter is increasing synergy in scientific activities with other related units.

In this regard, the biotechnology development headquarter signed a tripartite cooperation agreement to achieve self-reliance in the production of biotechnological, medical and health products. According to the agreement, the parties" involvement in research, development and production of medical equipment and technology and technological products and knowledge of health, biotechnology and medical equipment is further enhanced.

In addition, support of research, development and production of prioritized medical equipment and other technological products of advanced fields that have had the most import were prioritized by all three parties.

Given the ability of knowledge-based companies to decrease the effect of sanctions by developing biotechnology in various drug fields, this type of joint cooperation can provide health, as well as physical and mental security in the country.
