Pointing out the establishment of an export base of Iran in Uzbekistan, the president of the international affairs & technological exchange center stated: the base will be soon a place to present Iranian knowledge-based products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahdi Ghalenoei, the president of the international affairs & technological exchange center, talked about the establishment of a permanent export base for Iran in Uzbekistan during his trip to this country, adding: Iranian investors living in Uzbekistan or those who have an Uzbek partner can help us form this export base for Iran.

According to Ghalenoei, several negotiations have been carried out to select the best and most applicable building to show knowledge-based products. We negotiated with those who had the conditions, the necessary infrastructure, and the workspace, and we will soon reach a final conclusion.

The president of the international affairs & technological exchange center continued: knowledge-based companies can use this base for permanent showcasing of products since Uzbeks must see the product and be sure of its after-sales service in their financial and service interactions.

He also marked: therefore, the continuous delivery of products helps knowledge-based companies find the right market for their products and services. To do this, the selected broker will come to Tehran to hold an acquaintance meeting with Iranian knowledge-based companies.

According to Ghalenoei, several indigenous forces will be deployed at the site, and the products of knowledge-based companies will be launched there after this stage.

He also explained about the activities of export bases of Iran in other countries, expressing: offering and displaying products in the showroom at a permanent base for at least one year, offering company registration and bank account opening services, drug and product registration, acquiring host country standards, market research, marketing and selling products, participating in specialized exhibitions in countries, sending foreign delegations to Tehran, and accepting Iranian companies in target countries are the services of these export bases.

The president of the international affairs & technological exchange center affirmed: applicants for joint research projects can also use the space provided by the Uzbek Innovation Center and carry out their own research projects.

He also mentioned: applicant companies may apply for funding for their research projects from the international affairs & technological exchange center and other institutions designated by the center.
