The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the innovation zone of Sharif

 

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the innovation zone of Sharif and met with some of the technologists and startup owners of this region.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, went to innovation zone of Sharif. He visited some of the technological units based in this region around Sharif University of Technology and was familiarized with the latest technological achievements of startup and knowledge-based activities in this innovative region.

This visit provided an opportunity for startup activities, who are mostly graduated youth, to talk about the abilities and needs to the vice president for science and technology affairs.

The first destiny of Sattari was Ronash Hamrah Commercial Co., which is an active startup in the field of service providing based on the Internet and cell phones and its founders are graduates of technical and engineering fields, who have established their startup near Sharif University of Technology.

This service startup has initiated its path in an IT and communication-based business. The mentioned company has recruited 27 academic graduates and creative youth and has been able to develop more than six thousand programmers, 75 cell phone apps, along with 800 million installs and 30 million active users.

Visit of Some New Ideas

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited some technological units based in Shahid Rezaei strategic technologies research center and talked to idea-makers and technologists based in this center.

 

 

Andiseh Gostar Mobin has established creative projects in oil and gas operators and have provided five products to the industry related to the field of oil and gas. Moreover, the technologists of Pishran Eletric Co. have introduced a new generation of electromotors made in Iran. The founders of this technological unit announced the production of 70kV electromotors, that places Iran among the nine countries that own this technical knowledge.

Hamafan Samaneh is another company based in this research center, which has been able to enter various UAVs into the production stage with goals of mapping, tactical, and vertical launching. Industrial 3D printers with a precision of 50 micrometers with localization and production of internal parts were another product produced by this company on the brink of entering the commercial market.

Another technological company based in this research center has entered the path of production and commercialization of submarine robots with the ability of being active at depth of 300 m and carrying the weight of up to 40 kg. therefore, it can provide access to inaccessible parts to divers and inspection at night. Meanwhile, a company based in this research center pursues a plan to integrate robot development into messengers.

Other technological and innovative ideas presented were smart mental health assistant and production of recycling units by a company active in the area of advanced construction and materials.

A proper ecosystem has been established for creative youth and academics by the support of the Vice-Presidency and Sharif University. A part of this region is recognized as the innovation zone of Sharif. Creation of this area has led to the gathering of more than 400 knowledge-based companies at the heart of the capital to increase value creating.
