The biotechnology development headquarter will announce the top researchers of this field and will unveil the most recent industrial and research achievements of this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first ceremony for introduction of two groups of top and young researchers in the field of biotechnology will be held this January along with the second international congress of bio-medicine of Iran and with the cooperation of biotechnology development headquarter.

In this ceremony, three top researchers who achieved the highest achievement evaluation scores will be awarded based on the opinions of a judgement panel and according to the relevant instructions and regulations.

In addition, the top researchers in the field of biotechnology must be active in the faculties of universities or research and technology institutes in order to be introduced in a ceremony related to biotechnology based on the regulations of the headquarter. Support will be provided in two forms of ex gratia and research grants.

Evaluation of the works will continue until October 7^th 2018 and inclusion criterion is the achievements and outputs of researchers in the past five years.
