The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: the most important necessity for economic evolution of the province is new and creative businesses. Therefore, technological and subjective projects of the province will be supported to develop the new culture of entrepreneurship.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, pointed out the necessity of creating a proper entrepreneurship environment to use the domestic capacities of creative human resources of the province during his visit of the Innovation and technology mass production center of science park of Kermanshah, expressing: the future of knowledge-based economy will be realized by changing the approach of supporting businesses. The best way is not to give them loans but to provide them with an appropriate environment to foster the creativity of educated domestic youth.

He continued: new events have occurred in Kermanshah province in the area of knowledge-based economy. In addition, the new economy is gradually forming a new structure to create added value.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned that it is time to move from oil and resource-based economy to knowledge-based economy. In this regard, he continued: this structure has been formed by the role playing of more than 3700 knowledge-based companies in a way that the number of companies with revenues more than 60 thousand billion IRT has increased, which highlights the role of these companies in economy of Iran.

Visit of Two Technological Companies

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the achievements of Part Khodro Behistun Co., which is located in the industrial town of Behistun as the first visit.

Using the fine-blanking technology (accurate drilling), this company provides a part of needs of the country to automotive pieces.

Sattari also visited the Faraman Industrial Town to learn about the Safiran Fater Sanaat Taha Co., manufacturer of power transmission equipment and welding industries.

The vice president for science and technology affairs also talked with the activists of Tick accelerator, learning about their achievements in person.

In total, 210 ideas have been formed in this accelerator and more than 400 counseling sessions have been held. After the third round of acceleration, Tick has been able to locate and guide 40 startups, a number of which has created added value in the market of knowledge-based economy.

Inauguration of the First Phase of Innovation Center of Kermanshah

The first phase of innovation center of technology park of Kermanshah was inaugurated in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs.

The first phase of this innovation center has been established in 1800 square meters. Today, five technological workshops produce and commercialize the services and products of this production phase.

In addition, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the construction process of technology park of academic center for education, culture and research in Kermanshah. The technology park of Kermanshah is active as a sub-organization of this academic center.

Meeting with the Representative of the Supreme Leader in Kermanshah

Meeting with the representative of the supreme leader in Kermanshah was another part of the programs of this travel. In this meeting, they talked about the capacities and problems of the province.

Sattari also pointed out the moving of wheels of economy in the country by creative and entrepreneurial youth, appreciating the acheivements of these individuals in various technology fields and creation of added value by innovative, knowledge-based and startup companies.
