The sixth issue of special journal of lasers and photonics is published with the support of lasers, photonics and micro-structures of the vice-presidency for science and technology affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this issue of the special journal of lasers and photonics is published in 84 pages and includes nine sections with various topics, such as first note, interview, vision, and laser news, from science to wealth, lasers pioneers, guidance and school of technology.

The first editorial is written by the secretary of workgroup of policy making and strategic monitoring with the title of “collective effort is necessary for empowering of the lasers and photonics ecosystem of the country”.

In the third section, a report is presented on the 24^th conference of optics and phonetics of Iran and the 10^th engineering conference and technology of phonetics of Iran, which was held last February with the support of Shahr-e Kord University an at the location of this university.

The fourth section is vision, in which the first report is one photography cameras and their applications and progresses made in this area with the title of recording permanent images with unprofessional eyes.

In the second report, the project of silicon photonic structure of Europe, which is being performed and followed up by a European country. In the third section, a part of laser applications in dentistry is covered.

Lasers News

In the first section of this part, the presence of women in the area of optics is covered according to the naming of the international day of women and girls in science by the United Nations, and the second part was related to laser phosphorescence converters with the title of fundamental changes in digital spotlights. In addition, the third section is about headsets that can show images with more real lenses.

From Science to Health

In the first section of this topic, the Xpela Co. and new engineering and physics ideas and important projects performed in the mentioned company are explained. In the second section, the advanced Laser Kits, which is produced by the knowledge-based company of Tachfamsazan, is described.

Pioneers

In the first section of lasers pioneers, activities and achievements of Peter Sorokin, one of the pioneers in this field of science, are introduced. In addition, developments in the history of optical sensing instruments, such as solar clock, astrolabe and astronomical clocks are evaluated.
