According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, second symposium of “application of stem cells and regenerative medicine in digestive, renal and pancreas diseases” will be held June 28^th 2018 with the cooperation of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, university of medical sciences and health services of Tabriz and stem cells and regenerative medicine comprehensive center of Azerbaijan.

This symposium will cover the latest scientific results and global achievements on application of regenerative medicine and stem cells in the detection and treatment of digestive, renal and pancreas diseases. For the first time, the board of innovative process for solving the current challenges in the digestive diseases will be formed based on the ideas of the technologists and experts of this field.

The executive secretary of the symposium is Peyman Keyhanvar. Participants can attend the event in two forms, and those with 1234 degree will have continuous education.

The main topics of the symposium include the role of stem cells in treatment of digestive, renal and pancreas diseases, gene therapy and convergent technologies in the detection and treatment of digestive diseases, regenerative medicine in treatment of digestive, renal and pancreas diseases, use of exosomes in the treatment of digestive diseases, immune cell therapy in digestive, renal and pancreas cancers, animal models in the development of treatment with regenerative medicine in digestive diseases, technological challenges in the development of processes of the detection and treatment of digestive, renal and pancreas diseases.
