On the eve of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the vice president for science and technology affairs traveled to Bushehr and stated: our goal is developing knowledge-based economy and capacity actualization.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, who traveled to Bushehr on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, expressed: our goal is expanding and developing knowledge-based economy and actualization of capacities. Bushehr is one of the important provinces of the country due to its significance in the knowledge-based economy by having the necessary infrastructures, such as creative human resources and graduated academics, tourism, oil, gas and petrochemical industries and fishery.

Sattari affirmed: what is happening these days in universities, the innovation centers and provincial technology parks is the most valuable achievements of the Islamic Revolution.

The vice president for science and technology affairs regarded the prominent role playing of knowledge-based and technological companies in improvement of the economy of the country, adding: the number of knowledge-based companies has almost reached 4000 enterprises. Last year, the income of these companies reached 60 thousand billion tomans, which will have considerable growth in the current and next years.

According to this report, inauguration of the innovation center of Bushehr, visit of technological units, participation in the administrative council meeting, and meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader of Iran are among the most important programs of the vice president for science and technology affairs in this travel.
