The biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to reveal the most recent research and industrial achievements and introduce the top and young researchers of the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first ceremony for introducing two groups of top and young researchers in the biotechnology field will be held this January with the cooperation of biotechnology development headquarter and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs along with holding the second international congress on biomedicine in Iran.

In this ceremony, three top researchers, who received the highest evaluation score of achievements from the perspective of the judges based on the relevant regulations, received awards.

In addition, the top researchers in the area of biotechnology must be among faculty members of universities or research and technology institutes to be introduced in a ceremony related to biotechnology based on the regulation of the biotechnology development headquarter. These supports include two ex gratia and grants.

The works will be judged until October 7^th 2018 and the evaluation criteria of researchers, achievements and outputs are related to five years ago.
