According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the festival of digital media of the health field was initiated on October 17^th 2018 in the presence of the health working group of the information, communication and the cyberspace technologies development headquarter. In this two-day festival, the health-related digital media will showcase the latest achievements in this area.

According to this report, in this festival, which will be held in the presence and with the cooperation of the health working group of the information, communication and the cyberspace technologies development headquarter, some goals are sought, including using the high capacity of digital media in promoting health literacy of the community, mainstreaming and laying the foundation for production and expansion of health digital media, recognizing the producers of health digital works and creating a databank for presenting optimal services and laying the foundation for competition among producers of health digital media in order to grow and improve the domestic market and export of this industry in eight sections of computer games, cellphones, computer software, websites and information and educational weblogs, electronic health services, social media, smart health systems, and digital media.

The main objectives of the health working group of the information, communication and the cyberspace technologies development headquarter include promoting quality of health technologies, efforts to create the market and commercialize electronic health, cross-linking and cross-border coordination for the development of interoperability and the creation of appropriate e-health fields, identification of electronic health activities in the economic structure of the country, reducing barriers to new businesses in this area, utilization of the capacities of electronic health and support and guidance and development of plans and businesses and startups of electronic health.
