The vice president for science and technology affairs entered the province of Ilam with the goal of developing the ecosystem of startup and knowledge-based businesses.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, on the verge of the 40^th anniversary of victory of Islamic revolution, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered the province of Ilam and was welcomed by the governor and provincial authorities.

The most important goal of this travel is visiting the knowledge-based and technological units and meeting with the technologists and academics of the province to learn about their abilities, needs, and concerns. Supporting the infrastructures for development of knowledge-based economy and developing the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship is the goal of meeting of the vice president for science and technology affairs with provincial authorities.

On the first part of his travel, Sattari met with Ayatollah Karimitabar, the Friday Imam and representative of the supreme leader of the country in Ilam province.

After that, Sattari went to the science and technology park of the province to learn about the technological achievements presented in the exhibition of technological products and startup and creative units based in the innovation center and accelerator.

In addition, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the achievements of researchers and experts of herbal pharmaceutical research center.

Presence in the administrative council meeting of the province and presenting a speech in a meeting with provincial authorities are the final programs of this one-day travel of Sattari to Ilam.
