The first national festival of free flight in Iran was held by the efforts of the Khalaghiate Bartar Knowledge-based Co. and the brokerage of the young aerospace club.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first educational workshop of free flight and construction of an airplane with the model of p-30 Free Flight was held along with the national festival of free flight.

Sajad Rasti, secretary of Jampa, stated about the event: this educational workshop was held for three days (August 29^th-31^st, 2018) for instructors and representatives of Jampa based on the standards by the World Air Sports Federation in the growth center of Khalaghiate Bartar Company.

He added: instructors participating in this workshop came from different provinces of the country, who in addition to the theory and practical construction, learned about the regulations of the Jampa national competition.

According to Rasti, this event was held among school and university students with the goals of a low construction cost, lack of flight restrictions, empowering knowledge and technology and familiarization with the design and construction of various types of airplanes.

Jampa was initiated with the support of the promotion and culture building section of Iran national space administration, dedicating extensive efforts to the fair distribution of educational facilities and aerospace training across the nation.
