The first Iranian equipped fighter was flown in the presence of the president of Iran

The first Iranian equipped fighter with the name of “Kosar” was flown by the order of the president of Iran along with the celebration ceremony of the defense industry.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this domestic fighter is equipped with avionic systems and four-generation advanced localized fire control. Among the most important features of this fighter are use of advanced integrated and firewall architecture and fire control using a 4-generation military digital data network, utilizing computerized ballistic weapon calculation and HUD advanced system to increase the accuracy of weapons and ammunition hits, use of advanced radar and multi-objective fire control to raise the accuracy of target detection and threats, and application of accurate and independent radio navigation and the use of smart moving maps system.

According to this report, the ceremony for commemoration of day of defense industry was initiated on Tuesday morning with the slogan of “defense industry, symbol of national production and defense pride” in the presence of Dr. Hassan Rouhani, the president of Iran.

In the beginning of the ceremony, brigadier general Amir Hatami, the current minister of defense of Iran, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and some military officers and authorities of these ministries were presence, who also visited the exhibition of achievements and abilities of defense industries in the country.
