The eighth basic and clinical neuroscience congress is opened in the international Razi Hall in Tehran with the goal of transferring findings and creating scientific and specialized opportunities in the field in the presence of authorities in the medical, academic and research fields by the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.

This scientific event has been held as the most comprehensive neuroscience think-tank to help solve health problems and enhance the cognitive abilities of many people.

The conference will present the capabilities in the design and construction of systems and technical achievements for researchers and neuroscientists for the first time, which is a move to develop and deploy technologies, localize equipment and systems, and attempt to bolster internal neuroscience capabilities.

The meeting will be held in the presence of 1500 experts, researchers, professors, and students in the field of basic and clinical neurosciences to interact and cooperate and improve the role of psychologists and familiarize students with the neuroscience topics.

In addition, the second Olympiad of neuroscience students will be held along with the congress and a number of young researchers will be awarded with the prize of “Ahvazi” provided by the neuroscience association with the support of the cognitive sciences headquarter. The award is named after an Iranian physician in the 14^th century, and presenters will have posters on the event.

On the other hand, three special prizes will be given to best presenters of articles, art works and top dissertations.

The eighth basic and clinical neuroscience congress will be held by the cellular and molecular research center of Iran and neuroscience association with the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and some other scientific centers.
