The deputy for innovation and commercialization of the Vice-Presidency was appointed the presidency of the second committee of information, communication technology, sciences, technology and innovation of Scup.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Peyman Salehi, deputy for innovation and commercialization, was appointed as the president of committee of information, communication, technology and innovation affiliated to the social and economic United Nations Economic and Social Council in Bangkok.

This committee has initiated its activities since August 30^th 2018 and will continue it to September 1^st 2018 with the responsibility of evaluating the concepts related to the optimal use of new technologies to move toward the purposes of sustainable development. 

In addition, after summarizing the specific and applicable solutions in countries to achieve the mentioned goals, they are presented to the United Nations Economic and Social Council for the final approval.

The United Nations Economic and Social Council in Asia and Oceania for the final approval is affiliated to ECOSOC and has been established in 1947 with the goal of dealing with major challenges of countries in the pacific and Asian regions. This international organization that have 53 members is based in Bangkok
