The condolence message of the vice president for science and technology on passing of Professor Reza

 

Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed his consolation for passing of Professor Fazlollah Reza, one of the prominent scientists of Iran.

In the condolence message of Sattari, we read:

“Sometimes, death lacks meaning when human is dealing with difficulties with no doubts. Knowledge becomes wings to fly. Professor Reza was one of the prominent figures of the country and his death has extremely upset me. The valuable achievements of this figure in various scientific fields not only have provided solutions to the world, but also they are respectful. Wherever he went, he introduced Iranians as perfect people. I express my condolences for passing of this prominent scientists and I hope that the young people of the society continue the passage of this person.”

Professor Reza was the former head of University of Tehran and the former ambassador of Iran in UNESCO and Canada and the Honorary member of Farsi Language and Literature Association. He was also selected as the permanent member of IEEE due to cooperation in the theory of network and information.

He also taught electrical engineering fields in American Universities and was a professor at Concordia and Montreal universities in Quebec, Canada, and McGill University.

This prominent scientist died in Ottawa, Canada at the age of 105.
