The eighth call for support of research projects in the area of cognitive sciences is published with an emphasis on inclusive cognitive issues of the society.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter published the eighth call for support of research projects in the area of cognitive sciences in order to increase the synergy of students’ theses and dissertations in order to realize the goals in this field. The emphasis of this call is on inclusive cognitive issues of the society. Enthusiasts of this field can send their request during June 7th-July 10th, 2018 by referring to the website of the headquarter.

The aim of this program is support of research projects to form research cores in the area of cognitive sciences. Formation of each core through defining a set of master’s and PhD theses will be associated with realizing a mutual and specific goal in the area of cognitive sciences. However, the proposed projects must be the combination of at least two theses defined to realize this goal. The defined theses must be in line with a research discipline, development of technology or services in the area of cognitive sciences within the framework of priorities of the headquarter. In addition, they must follow a united achievement.

To date, more than seven stages of the call have been published by the headquarter, the result of which has been the development of more than 120 research projects in the area of cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter at the scientific centers of the country covered by the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter. The headquarter has aimed to support the projects in line with its policies to promote this science in the country and increase the motivation of scientific and research activities in this area.
