According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the problems of maritime knowledge-based companies is lack of sufficient knowledge about maritime employers and organizations about the abilities of these companies.

Given the importance of this issue and quantitative and qualitative development of maritime companies and completion of the chain of interaction between companies and maritime applicants and employees, the maritime knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter has aimed to prepare and publish a booklet to introduce maritime knowledge-based companies in two Farsi and English languages. In this booklet, maritime knowledge-based companies and their area of activities, products and abilities are introduced.

Today, we witness the growth of abilities of the country in the area of maritime knowledge-based technologies, which has led to the establishment of various maritime technological products by the efforts of our youth. With regard to the support and policies determined in this regard, there has been an increase in the number of these knowledge-based companies, in a way that these companies has increased from 12 in 2014 to 49 in 2017 with a growth rate of 30%.

Therefore, the mentioned booklet will be provided for maritime organizations and applicants to provide a proper foundation for development of interactions between companies and organizations of this field.
