Revision of import tariff for renewable equipment fitted to the localized instructions of equipment based on the Article 61 is carried out with the cooperation of the main authorities of the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the fundamental challenges on the field of renewable energies is import tariff of renewable equipment.

According to the studies conducted on the development, an import tariff technology must be dynamically changed based on the domestic abilities of the country. In order to move in this path, measures have been taken by the energy technologies development headquarter. In this regard, the instruction of Article 60 of the executive regulation, the Article 61 on revision of consumption pattern was designed after various meetings in the presence of experts from industry and academia and the private sector. In these meeting, various fields of wind and solar energies, mass bio and ground heat were evaluated.

One of the goals of this instruction is placing financial incentives in proportion to the level of abilities of the country in each area to be increased based on time. Meanwhile, if custom tariffs are intelligently changed based on time, it will have a significant effect on development of renewable energies and increase of domestic abilities.
