The Enter Gate for Nano Products of Iran to the Global Market of South Korea Will Be Opened
According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, the bilateral cooperation of Iran and South Korea in production of advanced products has entered its operational phase after a meeting between nano companies of Iran and the private sector of South Korea. In this meeting, some active Iranian companies in the area of nano technology, presented their abilities to the Korean party.
Iranian Product with a Korean Brand
Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, stated about presenting products with Korean brands: South Korea is an authentic brand in the world. If Iranian companies work with the Korean party, they will be to easily and more quickly achieve their goal in production and creation of a global business. Entrance of Iranianto the global market through a Korean platform will provide the both countries with many benefits.
Sarkar regarded this cooperation a bilateral commitment, expressing: negotiations have started since two years ago. Our main discussion with South Korea was preventing a one-sided relationship by just making Iran the market of Korean products. In fact, this is a two-way commitment and transfer of technology and selling the Iranian products in the Korean market will be possible. By doing so, a sustainable cooperation will be made between the two countries.
Secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter explained about the next step of the club of Iran and Korea, affirming: the current presence of Korean companies was the first step toward the operationalization of the joint cooperation program in order to make an association between Iranian companies and High-tech Korean companies. In July, a group of Iranian companies in the area of nano and other technologies will travel to South Korea in order to expand the relationship.
Cooperation in the Two-way Path
Beytollahi, director of international relations of the nanotechnology development headquarter, asserted: given the adequate strength of South Korea for introducing Iranian products in their own and the global markets, this joint cooperation will be beneficial for both countries.
Director of international relations of the nanotechnology development headquarter explained about this meeting: with regard to the effective cooperation between Iran and Korea in the past few years and familiarity with the abilities of Iran in the area of nano and other technologies, it is recommended that this club be established with the goal of development of technology and product and opening the markets.
He added: the meeting of the club of Iran and Korea was the first joint meeting after the formation of the club so that private companies could exchange ideas and evaluate the cooperation and investment areas. The nanotechnology development headquarter has also facilitated the formation of this relationship as a catalyst.
Beytollahi emphasized the bilateral nature of the cooperation, expressing: the Korean party has agreed to turn this process into an actual technological cooperation. Therefore, the cooperation is not limited to opening the markets.
In terms of the criteria for selecting the companies that introduce products, he explained: the selection criteria for us is technological ability in presenting various products and having a tangible market and a number of necessary capabilities.
Kyung-Ho Shin, Director of Research at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, guaranteed the creation of global markets for joint products, stating: this program will provide the opportunity for achieving the new ideas of Iranian products by Korean companies and availability of Iranian products in the Global markets. He continued: we guarantee that the product manufactured as a result of cooperation between Iranian and Korean companies will be one hundred percent globalized in the markets of the world.
