Given the necessity and importance of development of export of knowledge-based products and attraction of foreign investment for relevant projects, the national science foundation has aimed to send a delegation consisting of knowledge-based companies to Berlin in Germany during July 12^th-13^th, 2018 to attend the commercial meeting of knowledge-based companies in the area of health.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, government authorities, experts and managers of Iranian and European companies (especially Germany) will be present. Holding of face-to-face meetings on subjects of medical equipment, dentistry and laboratory, pharmaceutical equipment and tools, new technologies in area of health and presenting products in the side exhibition are among the programs of the event.

Some of the potential area for export to this country are virtual health, bio-medical tools, cancer diagnosis tools, imaging technologies, intelligent health, and researcher-based medical technologies. The health budget of Germany in 2013 was equal to 315 billion euros, which is predicted to reach 400 billion euro in 2020. In 2014, Germany imported medical equipment worth of 18 billion dollars. Meanwhile, the export volume of Iran to Germany was about 2.9 billion dollars in 2016, which is predicted to reach above five billion dollars in 2018. 

Independent electoral and boundaries commission, holder of the mentioned meeting in Germany, is active to facilitate and accelerate the economic relations between European and Iranian companies and to form the proper infrastructure for develop of export of products and engineering services of Iran, especially Iranian knowledge-based companies. Providing specialized counseling on development of export and business, counseling to attract foreign investors, legal and financial counseling, holding commercial events and B2B meetings and specialized exhibitions and all administrative and support services are among the services of the center.

Builders & Tradesmen"s Insurance Services, Inc. (BTIS) is another cooperator in holding of the meeting. The financial counseling company of BTIS is formed of prominent experts in area of investment, providing counseling services for foreign investors in line with the facilitation of investment in Iran. Provision of investment contracts, bank reports, financial supply, provision of guarantee, financial engineering, preparation of commercial projects and other required projects are among other services of the enterprise.
