According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the National Sheykh Bahaei Fanafrini Festival will be held with the goal of promotion and development of innovation, creativity and invention, introducing top inventors as the engine for movement and development of knowledge-based economy and creation of an interactive space among activists of various fields of innovation.

The current area of festival is a national space for domestic technologists, and in a mid-term vision, the plan has been internationalized and will include regional countries. With its unique content, the festival is held every May. However, the 14^th round of the event will be held in January this year.

Secretary of the event announced the holding of the 35^th global conference of science and technology parks, hosted by the technology town of Isfahan in September 2018 and new educational rounds of the event within a six-month interval as the most causes of change of date of the Sheykh Bahaei festival.

On the other hand, the festival started its work when the topic of entrepreneurship was still at its early stages in the country. After three successful rounds of the event in the area of entrepreneurship and growth of this concept in the society and with regard to the change of name and mission of the ministry to the ministry of science, research and technology, the board of trustees of the town approved a new regulation for the festival, changing its name into the national Sheykh Bahaei fanafarini festival (entrepreneurship based on technology or Technopreneurship).

The term entrepreneur was first introduced after the third festival in the country by the town and became a part of the title of the festival, transferring the event to the current ministry of labor and social affairs.

The 14^th round of the national Sheykh Bahaei Fanafrini Festival will be held January 2018, and enthusiasts of this field can register for the competition until September 22^nd 2018 and for the non-competition section until November 22^nd 2018.
