According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the nanotechnology development headquarter has aimed to support technological projects and active companies in this field in order to support the commercialization of nanotechnology achievements in the form of the nanotechnology commercialization program (Nano Match).

The Nano Match Program is held every year with the approach of supporting projects with a prepared prototype in the nanotechnology area over a call issued for applicants. Technologists, new companies, researchers and the academic society are the presentation side, whereas the industrial companies and venture capitals act as demanders of this program.

Inquiries are assessed on the basis of appraisal criteria, including commercialization and market development, technical and nanoscale, innovation, as well as the potential of the technology team to advance the design. The accepted plans in the program will use available facilities and infrastructure to develop their prototype and prepare for entry into the industry over a period of time that varies for each project in line with its level. In addition to benefiting from the support and services of Nano Match for developing their businesses, other support and facilities of the nanotechnology development headquarter for market development will be provided at the end of the product development process.
