Along with the INOTEX2018 exhibition, a commercial meeting will be held for technological companies in the area of renewable energies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this event will be held with the support of energy technologies development headquarter and national technomart of Iran in the area of renewable energies. The technological companies in the area of renewable energies will be present from eight developing Islamic countries (members of D-8). The main goal of holding this event is creating opportunities for technological cooperation of companies.

According to this report, the first meeting was held in Bangladesh on the topic of biotechnology. In the current year, the meeting will be held in Tehran and along with INOTEX2018 with the topic of renewable energies. In addition to transfer of technology, this meeting will be an opportunity for interaction of various companies. The present companies from Iran and other member countries will display their abilities and hold B2B meetings. Moreover, a specialized panel will be held during the event.

The technology transfer network of D-8 has been designed to facilitate and accelerate the access to technological information of companies and to lay the foundation for technological exchange and cooperation based on a dynamic portal as the infrastructure of the network. Among the countries of D-8 are Indonesia, Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Egypt, and Nigeria.
