Support of 24 scientific projects is approved
Support of 24 research projects in the area biotechnology has been approved by the national science foundation to be soon implemented.
According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, the workgroup of biotechnology of the national science foundation approved the support of 24 research projects in its final session after the evaluation of research projects sent to the workgroup.
These projects are fundamental and applicable and include the areas of biotechnology, biochemistry, geology, physics and mathematics. Publication of articles and production of products are also the goals of supporting these projects. In addition, 10 projects were approved for assessment and judges were determined for four projects.
According to this report, with regard to the importance of learning all sciences, including disciplinary and interdisciplinary, the current research groups were defined with specialized workgroups in the foundation. Researchers sent their projects based on their desired ideas to receive support from the relevant workgroup. This act will improve the knowledge borders and solving essential issues based on scientific priorities of the country in various scientific branches within the prioritized framework. In fact, the foundation will support research projects defined based on the needs and benefits of the country.
