The complementary cooperation agreement was signed by the Iranian national science foundation and Shahid Beheshti University to support 160 researchers of this university to perform scientific studies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, three years have passed since the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Iranian national science foundation and Shahid Beheshti University. According to this agreement, support of 20 postdoctoral projects of researchers of this university has been realized. In this regard, a supplementary memorandum of understanding is signed by Nosratollah Zargham, head of the Iranian national science foundation, and Seyed Hasan Sadough, president of Shahid Beheshti University, to support a total of 160 research projects of the researchers of this university.

According to this report, by signing this complementary memorandum of understanding, 40 research projects, 20 postdoctoral projects, 50 doctoral dissertations, and 10 international patent registration will be supported. In addition, a separate agreement will be signed with the school of literature and humanities of Shahid Beheshti University to support 20 postdoctoral projects and 20 research projects.

In addition, Zargham, head of the Iranian national science foundation, presented a report on the activities and services of the foundation during the ceremony for signing the agreement and regarded helping the revolutionary studies, support of researchers and innovators and developing the infrastructures of science, technology and innovation as three areas of activities of the foundation.
